Frank Ernst is married to Hadassa Busschots and they live together with their 3 children in Antwerp. He is founding pastor of the international church The Lighthouse Fellowship and founder of De Vlam vzw, an organization that runs a christian day-care centre in Hoboken that is fully recognized by the government and the city authorities.

In 2022 the church opened a professional coffee place in the heart of Antwerp that is also used as video campus on Sundays, for Evangelism, Fund Raising for kingdom projects and as an ‘outpost of heaven’ to bring the love of Christ to the market place. He serves as vice president of the organization Abba Gambia and is currently busy to raise an orphanage and christian neighborhood centre in Jambanjali / The Gambia.
