The art(ist)
I was born in 1991 in Belgium and I currently live and work there as a French teacher. After finishing my studies, I pursued a three year theological education abroad where I discovered how creativity is a true weapon in the Kingdom of God. With my art I aim to connect heaven to earth and by doing so, I want to bring heaven on earth. When feeling restless, I create peace. When in pain, I create healing. This is the reason why my niche is called “prophetic art”. I create in faith.
The technique
Acrylic pouring is an abstract art technique that belongs to the category of “fluid art”. It is a balance between coincidence and control. I plan the colour palette, the composition and the message the piece is going to deliver. But once I start pouring, I let go and put the painting into the hands of the Creator.
